Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Write production-ready, testable code while taking full-stack ownership.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards throughout development.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, vendors, customers, and adjacent teams.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery and communicate blockers or delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of seven years of experience.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements for end users.
- Ability to collaborate across all aspects of product development.
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Understanding of product features, user and process impacts, team domains, business strategy, and technical strategy.
