Base Salary
$143k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable, secure, and high-performing Visibility solutions.
- Translate business requirements into maintainable and efficient technical solutions.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineering leaders on architecture, design, and technology decisions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and engineering best practices across the Visibility organization.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for development, production, and client-impacting issues.
- Lead investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical production incidents and customer escalations.
- Improve reliability, observability, operational efficiency, and system performance.
- Partner with Professional Services on customer implementations, go-lives, and issue resolution.
- Influence product direction through Visibility domain expertise and technical insight.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on development experience.
- Expert-level experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot microservices.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Deep experience with Apache Kafka, including consumer groups, partitioning, offset management, schema evolution, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and Cassandra in scalable enterprise environments.
- Ability to design, build, and support highly available, scalable enterprise applications with strong software architecture and design-pattern expertise.
- Experience operating cloud-native solutions in AWS and GCP with emphasis on resiliency, observability, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Anthos, Istio Service Mesh, Helm, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, production incident resolution, AI-assisted software development, globally distributed teams, and large-scale event-driven architectures.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, visibility, or enterprise analytics domains is relevant to the role.
