Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, configuration, build, and ongoing management of the global BlackLine platform.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical designs and executable delivery tasks.
- Participate in product-team agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and continuous feature delivery.
- Establish technical standards, governance, best practices, and security controls for the BlackLine environment.
- Oversee requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, finance stakeholders, and technical teams on solutions, integrations, and dependencies.
- Monitor platform performance and lead optimization and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep experience configuring and managing a global BlackLine environment, including Account Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, and Journals.
- Experience working in an agile delivery model and familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding and practical experience across the software development lifecycle in a product-centric environment.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, particularly the Record to Report process.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Experience establishing technical governance and adopting platform standards across a large organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master’s degree in Software Engineering.
- SAP Certified Application Associate certification in Business Intelligence with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and SAP Certified Development Associate certification in ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 are listed.
- Required skills include BlackLine, client relations, design thinking, people leadership, personal effectiveness, SAP ECC, SAP FICO, SAP overview, and technical solution architecture.
- Proficient English language ability at C2 level is required.
