Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test cases.
- Execute manual functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compliance, and risk-based testing.
- Write test plans, prepare test scripts, and maintain test documentation.
- Review and document test results, defects, resolution steps, and test-cycle closure reports.
- Perform database validation and test-data preparation using SQL queries.
- Conduct ETL testing and ensure application test coverage across environments.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Suggest process improvements and contribute to continuous quality enhancements.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of overall software testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries for database validation and test-data preparation.
- ETL testing experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical documentation ability.
- Basic knowledge of API testing, such as Postman or REST Assured, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Knowledge of test automation is preferred.
