Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features across Linktree’s Linkapps surface.
- Own third-party integrations end-to-end, including evaluating partner APIs or SDKs, implementation, production launch, and ongoing maintenance.
- Improve the composable Link Apps system while keeping integrations efficient and maintainable.
- Design and maintain services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure with attention to authentication, rate limits, versioning, and graceful degradation.
- Collaborate with product, design, partnerships, and business stakeholders to define feasible, valuable integrations.
- Instrument shipped work and use data to determine what to improve, remove, or expand.
- Use AI-assisted development and contribute to a strong engineering culture through clear writing, reviews, and code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features.
- Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, and AWS.
- Meaningful production experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs, including authentication, rate limits, versioning, and outages.
- Experience designing services and APIs in cloud-based, service-oriented architectures.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a large, established codebase.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex.
- Ability to turn ambiguous partner opportunities into shipped and measured features.
- Strong attention to product and implementation quality, including states, errors, and loading behavior.
- Clear async-first communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and time zones.
- Being based in Australia, particularly Melbourne or Sydney, is preferred.
