Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features across the Linkapps surface, from partner-facing services to creator-facing product experiences.
- Own third-party integrations end to end, including evaluating APIs or SDKs, designing integrations, shipping them, and maintaining them in production.
- Improve the composable Link Apps system so future integrations are faster to build without unnecessary platform complexity.
- Design and maintain services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure with attention to authentication, rate limits, versioning, and graceful degradation.
- Collaborate with product, design, partnerships, business stakeholders, and distributed teammates to turn partner opportunities into shipped features.
- Instrument shipped work and use data to determine what to fix, remove, or expand.
- Use AI-assisted development and contribute to engineering quality through clear writing, code reviews, and maintainable code.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production full-stack features.
- Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, and AWS.
- Meaningful experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs and managing authentication, rate limits, versioning, and production outages.
- Experience designing services and APIs within cloud-based, service-oriented architectures.
- Comfort working in large established codebases and making safe, well-judged changes.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex, including prompting, iteration, validation, and refinement.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, collaborate asynchronously across time zones, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.
- High standards for product and engineering craft, including attention to empty states, error messages, and loading behavior.
- Being based in Australia, particularly Melbourne or Sydney, is preferred.
