Base Salary
$175k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build mobile features in the React Native app.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of features from requirements to deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in the mobile app.
- Propose and drive architectural decisions for mobile features.
- Mentor Software Engineers I, II, and III through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Define and improve best practices around component architecture and mobile deployment.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to translate product goals into technical solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience with React Native.
- Proven track record of delivering complex mobile features in a team environment.
- Experience with the full mobile development lifecycle, including app store submission.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and deep React Native expertise.
- Strong experience with Expo and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency with monorepo tooling like Yarn workspaces.
- Solid understanding of mobile testing strategies and CI/CD workflows.
- Comfortable working autonomously and communicating technical decisions effectively.
