Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design and build AI agents and experiences that take actions for enterprise organizations, including prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Own technical components from architecture selection through production deployment, validation, and observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines across Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to monitor deployment health and business outcomes.
- Contribute to and help lead PoCs and MVPs that progress from concept to deployable solutions in days.
- Work directly with customers and partners, surface platform gaps and field insights, and translate business challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, including at least one production system that the candidate can explain.
- Customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least two of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, plus knowledge of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to engage confidently with customer architects and sales teams.
- Approximately 25% travel and comfort working in fast-moving, build-oriented environments.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I or Agentforce Specialist certification; familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
