Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Scala.
- Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate with enterprise platforms.
- Contribute to DevOps automation and continuous delivery practices.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of critical applications.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Java and Spring.
- Experience with Scala development.
- Understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, or DB2.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or MongoDB.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an international environment.
- Apache Spark experience is preferred.
- UNIX/Linux debugging experience is preferred.
- DevOps automation knowledge using Shell, Python, AutoSys, or Perl is preferred.
- Experience with Angular, React, or modern JavaScript frameworks is preferred.
- Background in finance, accounting, or reporting solutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of data science and business reporting concepts is preferred.
