DataBricks Developer (Digital Engineering)
Coherent SolutionsResponsibilities
- Implement, test, and maintain backend components and services in Java and Spring Boot.
- Work with senior developers and team leads to understand designs and break user stories into implementable tasks.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and support unit and integration testing.
- Use Git for branching, pull requests, and code review workflows.
- Fix bugs, address basic performance issues, improve logging, and help troubleshoot less complex production issues.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines, retrospectives, and incremental process or code improvements.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience working as a Java developer.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with RESTful concepts and HTTP fundamentals.
- Introductory knowledge of DBMS concepts, preferably MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and code versioning tools.
- Foundational knowledge of design patterns, multithreading, CI/CD concepts, and automated testing.
- Interest in SaaS and enterprise architecture concepts and willingness to learn NoSQL technologies.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
