Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance and scalability tests for cloud networking products.
- Use and enhance open-source tools like iperf and ethr to measure and improve network performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex network and performance-related issues.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement network performance improvements based on test outcomes.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, documentation, and reports for performance testing.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud networking and testing tools.
- Contribute to a culture of quality by sharing knowledge and supporting peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in networking and QA, with hands-on expertise in BGP.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Strong experience working with Linux environments and using command-line tools.
- In-depth experience with network performance testing tools such as iperf and ethr.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell for test automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving complex network performance issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
