Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate Python-based services, APIs, and AI-enabled applications.
- Build agent workflows using prompts, tools, APIs, enterprise knowledge, and structured data.
- Deploy and operate applications on Google Cloud using secure, observable, and repeatable engineering practices.
- Configure and extend virtual agents, agent assistance, and workflow automation use cases.
- Test, troubleshoot, and optimize agent behavior, integrations, latency, reliability, and user experience.
- Create technical documentation, deployment runbooks, and demonstrations for delivery teams and clients.
- Apply responsible AI, security, access-control, and data-handling practices throughout the solution lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Python scripting, API integration, and application-level development.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, with Google Cloud preferred and Azure or AWS also acceptable.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding and working experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI/CD or equivalent.
- Working experience with REST APIs and JSON-based data exchange.
- Prior exposure to generative AI concepts including LLMs, prompt engineering, and embeddings.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Console and Vertex AI or Agent Platform tools is preferred.
