Base Salary

$160k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts, team leads, developers, architects, and product owners on enterprise data transformation.
  • Develop scalable, resilient Java solutions supporting financial market clearing and risk activities.
  • Architect and maintain a Java/Cucumber BDD automation framework with three-tier memory management and Jenkins orchestration.
  • Design and develop highly concurrent, multithreaded distributed Java applications integrating Apache Kafka and JMS.
  • Build and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with Docker- and Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Implement Hibernate caching with JPA/JDBC and author complex SQL and PL/SQL queries across Oracle, MySQL, and DB2.
  • Analyze requirements, develop and test software, document quality, and follow SDLC procedures.
  • Perform application and project risk analysis and recommend quality improvements.
  • Provide production support, system functionality advice, and software fixes.
  • Communicate software defects and delivery delays to appropriate team members and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Five years of experience as a software engineer, software developer, or related role.
  • Experience architecting and maintaining Java/Cucumber BDD automation frameworks with Jenkins test-suite orchestration.
  • Experience developing concurrent, multithreaded distributed Java applications using Apache Kafka and JMS.
  • Experience building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience implementing Hibernate Level 1 and Level 2 caching with JPA/JDBC and writing SQL and PL/SQL queries across Oracle, MySQL, and DB2.
