$220k - $292k/yr

Responsibilities

Act as a technical leader on a small team owning software for Copperhead.
Set objectives and build cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Design and implement development processes for mission systems.
Act as the technical owner for an entire mission system, including stakeholder engagement.
Organize integration events and scope key deliverables.
Ensure customer success through the design and delivery of operational mission systems.
Generate system solutions to improve reliability and capability.
Write and maintain core libraries for robotics platforms.
Own major feature development for Copperhead and manage rollout.
Author documents to fulfill customer requests.
Travel up to 15% of the time for real-world capability deployment.

Strong engineering background in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in a leadership position within a high-performing technology organization.
Proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, and code optimization.
6+ years of professional C++ or Rust programming experience in a Linux environment.
Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
Experience with distributed software platform development.
Capacity to work holistically on software-enabled capabilities.
Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn outside of core discipline.
Experience engaging with customers on technical aspects of products.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
