Base Salary
$130k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand, maintain, and enhance existing data pipelines for structural data.
- Integrate and adapt data from public and proprietary sources into reusable pipelines.
- Collaborate with ML scientists to meet their data requirements.
- Ensure secure and retrievable storage of all data.
- Perform code reviews and uphold software engineering best practices.
- Communicate technical work effectively across research and engineering teams.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Cheminformatics, or a related field.
- For Engineer II, 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Hands-on familiarity with structural biology data, including .cif files and PDB.
- Strong software engineering practices focused on maintainable systems.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Ability to operate in a research-driven environment and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
