Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes for automated builds, testing, releases, and deployments.
- Design and automate AWS and hybrid infrastructure, build and test environments, container platforms, and deployment workflows.
- Administer Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory/Xray, SonarQube, AWS services, and shared enterprise engineering platforms.
- Support Kubernetes/EKS workloads and platform services, including deployment, configuration, access, observability, and troubleshooting.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation for AWS infrastructure, Linux and Windows systems, and repeatable platform operations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and report on the health, availability, capacity, and performance of DevOps infrastructure.
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams on vulnerability management, secure configuration, access controls, compliance, and hardened operating-system images.
- Maintain technical, operational, project, build, release, and automation documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or equivalent DevOps-related work experience.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and patterns in an enterprise organization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automation practices.
- Experience with Git and enterprise Git platforms, source-code management, and artifact, code-quality, and related tooling.
- Programming or scripting experience with one or more of Python, Bash/PowerShell, .NET, or Java.
- Experience creating code-defined infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar tools.
- Understanding of public cloud, networking, IAM/security, and highly available infrastructure.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows systems remotely and through automated configuration.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes/EKS, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational support is preferred.
- Build automation experience with multi-stage pipelines, shared automation, credentials, and deployment dependencies is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
