Responsibilities
- Translate business and operational requirements into technical designs and develop high-quality full-stack solutions.
- Design and build horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency enterprise applications.
- Develop and support React front-end and Python and Java back-end applications.
- Monitor and control analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Provide SME support, answer client application queries, and support business users and operational teams.
- Work with business partners, analysts, technology groups, senior stakeholders, and geographically distributed teams.
- Recommend security measures, assess risks, and support compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new and lower-level programmers.
- Manage multiple projects, meet delivery timelines, and operate with limited direct supervision.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- At least 3–4 years of experience with React and Python.
- Strong Java back-end development experience and experience designing enterprise-level solutions.
- Experience with scalable, highly available, resilient, low-latency, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with on-premises and public cloud infrastructure, including OpenShift and AWS.
- Strong SQL, RDBMS, database, programming, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with Unix/Linux commands and basic scripting.
- Experience with REST clients, XML parsing and schemas, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Experience with design standards, frameworks, multiple technologies, and large-scale high-volume environments.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and working under pressure with changing requirements.
- Experience with Git, IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, Maven, LSE, JIRA, JUnit, and automated testing tools.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Test Driven Development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, stakeholder management, and independent judgment skills.
