Responsibilities

  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and scalable solution designs.
  • Pilot, prototype, procure, configure, develop, demonstrate, and deploy new solutions and technologies.
  • Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and support OpenLink Endur applications and business-critical components.
  • Perform application testing, data integrity management, patch management, deployment support, post-deployment validation, and end-user support and training.
  • Work with third-party suppliers on change requests, software patches, upgrades, testing, and deployment.
  • Support turn-key and SaaS solutions, including configuration and installation of third-party packages.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, subject matter experts, and Design Authority.
  • Participate in global IT community activities, sharing sessions, scrum calls, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of corporate IT experience focused on ETRM/CTRM.
  • Functional and technical experience with OpenLink Endur version 11 or later.
  • Intermediate experience providing application support and development in a corporate environment.
  • Full lifecycle development experience in a project development role.
  • Energy or commodity trading and risk management domain experience, including trade capture, risk management, scheduling and operations, or settlements and accounting.
  • Endur development experience using JVS or OpenComponents.
  • Experience developing solutions with Java and .NET.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Endur database schema and ability to write and tune SQL.
  • Experience handling memory management issues with JVS and OpenComponents scripting.
  • Experience implementing Connex, Grid Enabled Scripts, Operation Services, and Endur Trade Process Management.
  • Understanding of mature software architectures, software quality management, and coding standards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps tools such as VSTS and Git.
  • Ability to manage multiple delivery priorities and demand requests.
