Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and maintain software under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate on code reviews, design discussions, project objectives, and knowledge sharing.
- Design software and databases and contribute to technical leadership and performance optimization.
- Document software requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance and mentorship.
- Participate in training, software development practices, and adoption of best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SMART/400 and DIARY/400 is required.
- Knowledge of Life/400 or Group/400, REST API, and MSP is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 13 to 18 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Basic coding and debugging skills, effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced degree in a related field, relevant certifications, or training is a plus.
