Responsibilities
- Evaluate business requirements and select technology stacks, application frameworks, databases, and deployment architectures for AI and non-AI solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered and web applications using Python, Django/Flask, FastAPI, React, REST APIs, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Provision and manage application infrastructure across OpenStack and Azure, including virtual machines, application hosting, Nginx, HTTPS/TLS, and supporting services.
- Manage Azure identity and application authentication, including Microsoft Entra ID, App Registrations, application permissions, OAuth authentication, and Azure service integrations.
- Establish and maintain GitLab repositories, access controls, branching and code-review workflows, GitLab Runners, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage PostgreSQL connectivity, migrations, backups, and deployment-related database changes.
- Initiate projects, create initial technical implementations, establish coding and architecture standards, and onboard developers.
- Maintain technical specifications, architecture documentation, deployment procedures, and operational documentation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and create reusable skills and instructions for AI coding assistants.
- Troubleshoot application, LLM-Gateway API, application API, database, infrastructure, and deployment issues while managing secrets and credentials through KeyVaults.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of Python software development experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience building LLM/GenAI applications, RAG solutions, and AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Git, GitLab, CI/CD, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and application deployment.
- Experience with cloud or virtualized infrastructure, preferably Azure and OpenStack.
- Experience with Nginx, HTTPS/TLS, Linux and Windows server environments, and application services.
- Working knowledge of React and JavaScript for maintaining web applications.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot or equivalent tools.
- Ability to independently take applications from requirements and design through development, deployment, and production support.
- Nice-to-have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, vector databases, pgVector, MCP, AI evaluation and observability, RAGAS, machine learning, fine-tuning, enterprise identity and security platforms, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
