Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom and scoped applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.
- Build and configure workflows, alerts, role assignments, service request forms, request items, and task flows.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using ServiceNow APIs, REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.
- Lead solution architecture, delivery, implementation, and adoption of ServiceNow service desk capabilities across EXL.
- Automate routine task fulfillment using scripting tools and standard ServiceNow functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, and enhance business processes.
- Load, manipulate, and maintain integration data flows between ServiceNow and external systems.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of technical experience in ServiceNow and custom or scoped application development.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and modules, including ITSM, IT Service Portal, Asset Management, and Workplace Service Delivery.
- Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Service Portal, Flow Designer, workflows, alerts, role assignments, configurations, and App Engine.
- Proficiency in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow UI/UX.
- Experience developing integrations with external systems using APIs, REST, SOAP, and related integration methods.
- Knowledge of databases, incident management lifecycle, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Graduate qualification, preferably a degree in Computer Science such as MCA, BS, or BE.
- ServiceNow certification, such as Certified Application Developer, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical and functional issues with executives, support teams, and customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global teams, manage multiple assignments, and operate as an individual contributor or technical leader.
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project is required or preferred for delivery work.
- Experience with business-aligned IT scenarios and business processes in HR, Finance, or IT is advantageous.
