Base Salary
$207k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own end-to-end advertising features across backend systems, retrieval and ranking, UI, dashboards, logging, and measurement.
- Work across mobile, web, and backend systems to deliver seller- and user-facing product experiences.
- Own projects from inception through production and ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate with Discovery, Seller Growth, Data Platform, Machine Learning Platform, Payments, and other engineering teams.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to inclusive, supportive teams.
- Ship products and features quickly while operating autonomously.
Requirements
- 5+ years of generalist software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Full-stack proficiency across iOS/Android, web, and backend systems.
- Web development experience with React and GraphQL for API development.
- Proven experience building end-to-end, high-scale product experiences as a full-stack engineer.
- Experience with Python and/or PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Next.js exposure is preferred but not required.
- Strong product instincts, ownership, problem-solving ability, autonomy, and demonstrated feature delivery.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and mentor others.
