Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the scalable, high-performance Business Service Layer using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with the Kubernetes-based private-cloud Platform (Fabric) team on performance and scalability.
- Work with service owners to meet project timelines and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Implement code quality, security, and performance best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Mentor junior developers located in Bucharest and Frankfurt.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Deep technical experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, query optimization, and transactions.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or other relational databases.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
- Strong experience with software development processes, models, lifecycles, and methodologies.
