Base Salary
$160k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define architecture and engineering standards for secure, scalable systems.
- Design and build cloud infrastructure, networking, autoscaling, and multi-tenant systems.
- Deliver Node.js and TypeScript APIs and services backed by PostgreSQL and vector databases.
- Build and orchestrate AI agent workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and enterprise integrations.
- Own infrastructure as code, observability, CI/CD, automated testing, releases, quality, and reliability.
- Lead hands-on, customer-facing delivery and drive end-to-end product impact.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing secure, scalable cloud and systems architectures across networking, autoscaling, and multi-tenant patterns.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CDK and observability practices involving metrics, tracing, logs, and SLOs.
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript experience building APIs and services.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Milvus.
- Experience orchestrating agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation; familiarity with LangGraph is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, trunk-based development, Docker, and modern release management.
- Hands-on use of AI tools and ideas for applying AI to development, testing, data, and support.
- Comfort making decisions with incomplete information, learning new technology stacks, and communicating clearly.
