Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale identity and access management services and platforms.
- Build scalable cloud services, APIs, and distributed systems supporting identity lifecycle management, provisioning, authentication, authorization, access governance, privileged access, and identity protection.
- Own the design, development, testing, deployment, and operational readiness of complex engineering initiatives.
- Drive architecture discussions, platform strategy, technical execution, and alignment across stakeholders.
- Operate globally scaled production services and improve reliability, performance, observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational health.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, mitigation, automation, and continuous service improvement.
- Apply security-by-design principles, secure coding, threat modeling, risk assessment, and compliance readiness practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, security specialists, and operations teams, while mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C#, Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience designing and building cloud-scale distributed systems and services.
- Experience with microservices architectures, REST APIs, cloud-native application development, and Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Strong software design, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence.
- Ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives from design through production.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools and automation technologies.
- Preferred experience with IAM, identity governance, authentication, authorization, access governance, provisioning, or identity protection solutions.
- Preferred knowledge of enterprise security, Zero Trust, cloud security, privileged access management, identity lifecycle management, and modern identity protection strategies.
- Preferred experience operating mission-critical services at scale and driving platform modernization or security transformation initiatives.
