Responsibilities
- Build a deep understanding of Snowflake’s infrastructure and services.
- Apply infrastructure and software engineering to deliver a scalable platform.
- Provide technical leadership on large, complex cloud projects.
- Champion platform adoption to meet business goals across teams.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud computing.
- Ownership mindset and passion for solving complex problems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in one or more languages: Go, Java, Python, or C++.
- Daily operational experience with AI-driven software development.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Expertise in CI/CD systems such as Github Actions or Jenkins.
- Strong distributed-systems troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
