Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement new functionality for high-volume data processing and efficient algorithms.
- Improve existing API functionality, performance, service quality, API contracts, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Develop and maintain reliable, secure, performant, and user-friendly software applications.
- Build and maintain highly available backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and AWS.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in peer code reviews, and follow secure coding and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing software applications with Python and optimizing application performance and resource utilization.
- Experience writing mission-critical code and developing highly available backend services.
- Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon SQS.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and SaaS architectures.
- Experience with Salesforce and cloud-based web application development.
- Good written and communication skills in English.
