Base Salary
$69k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document technical details through code comments, software architecture documentation, and flow diagrams.
- Understand technical design specifications and independently deliver quality code.
- Develop and work with Java and Spring Boot microservices using Docker.
- Apply Java and microservices design patterns, including Observable, Factory, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Database per Service, and event-driven architecture.
- Perform web development and unit testing using SonarQube and JUnit.
- Integrate microservices hosted on the Azure cloud platform.
- Drive technical issues to closure and collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum team.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Java microservices and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with Java design patterns, including Observable and Factory.
- Hands-on experience with microservices design patterns, including Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Database per Service, and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on web development and unit-testing experience, including SonarQube and JUnit.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Azure services and AKS is preferred.
- Experience with IntelliJ and GitLab.
- Strong communication and interactive skills.
- Experience working in a highly functional Agile team, such as Scrum.
