Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted Technical Advisor to teams and customer executives.
- Define the multi-year strategy for cloud adoption and modernization.
- Establish global cloud governance frameworks and architectural standards.
- Drive advanced DevOps practices and accountability models.
- Architect and implement complex solutions on Google Cloud.
- Design integration patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud systems.
- Define the DevSecOps and cloud security posture.
- Lead Proof-of-Concept initiatives for emerging technologies.
- Architect a visibility strategy to monitor system health.
- Design automated governance guardrails for deployments.
- Mentor and grow a team of Senior/Lead Cloud Engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement of the cloud architecture delivery pipeline.
- Collaborate with Data & AI Team and Engineering Leads.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or similar role.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud.
- Proven ability to architect for scale and high-performance workloads.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and related tools.
- Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
- Experience with security, audit, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in technical mentoring and team-forming.
- Experience with customer relationship management and project planning.
- Relevant certifications in cloud architecture and Kubernetes.
