Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software and tooling to deploy EC2 infrastructure across new AWS Regions and Availability Zones.
- Develop fully automated, zero-human-touch deployment solutions for large-scale distributed systems.
- Implement solutions for configuration management, service migration, dependency detection, and dependency management.
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications and services.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, operations, and root-cause resolution for production issues.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, typically one week every two months.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
