Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and complex technical problems and deliver quality full-stack solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements and integrate solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and technical excellence.
- Implement unit testing and reliable software design practices.
- Use Java, Spring, Micronaut, REST/SOAP services, AWS, and related development tools to deliver digital capabilities.
- Manage risk and controls, follow applicable policies and regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Guide and support team members or act as a technical advisor where appropriate.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design concepts, Core Java, JPA/Hibernate, Spring, unit testing, mocking frameworks, and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of GitLab, SonarQube, Jenkins, Java, Maven, Gradle, and Nexus.
- Strong knowledge of web services, including SOAP, REST, and microservices, using Spring or Micronaut.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Micronaut.
- Strong knowledge of cloud or infrastructure products and AWS services including CloudFormation, monitoring, Lambda, EC2, IAM, and DynamoDB.
- Practical knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of UI technologies such as HTML, JSP, JavaScript, and React.js is highly valued.
- Basic understanding of Jenkins, GitLab, Groovy, and shell scripting is highly valued.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
