Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and optimize software modules using Scala and Spark.
- Design and execute test cases and automate software validation processes.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend performance or availability improvements.
- Support software installation, upgrades, deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration processes.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Capture client clarifications, gather feedback, respond to customer requests, and support timely delivery.
- Track quality risks, usability, serviceability, customer satisfaction, and project execution.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certification activities.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Mandatory skills in Scala and Spark.
- Ability to analyze requirements, information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes.
- Experience with software development, testing, debugging, performance improvement, and system modification.
- Ability to create test scenarios, execute validation, and ensure software is error-free.
- Ability to document solutions and prepare accurate technical, project, and management reports.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, analysts, functional teams, and engineering staff.
- Strong customer-facing communication and issue-resolution skills.
