Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of significant and technically challenging efforts across major program and product areas.
- Define architectural standards, tools, and methodologies for technical consistency and quality across functional applications.
- Identify and apply new technologies to improve systems.
- Collaborate with senior development and functional teams to share knowledge and simplify and integrate products.
- Work with management on Software Engineering governance and performance management processes.
- Develop and deliver training for system users, Software Engineering colleagues, allied groups, and stakeholders.
- Identify proprietary intellectual property and recommend patent applications.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid technical knowledge of C# and .NET for the networking domain.
- Working knowledge of building, debugging, and troubleshooting in a Windows environment.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Unisys ClearPath MCP/OS 2200 systems is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of data integration, data conversions, ETL, data warehousing, data loading, data mapping, data migrations, and data transformation.
- Knowledge of SQL Server; Oracle, Kafka, and Elasticsearch are added advantages.
- Knowledge of configuration management, Jira, CI/CD, DevOps, Jenkins, TDD, clean coding, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Programming experience with C, C++, Python, Algol, or COBOL is relevant.
