Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions and lead teams through design and delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Create test scenarios and develop and execute automated API and UI tests.
- Architect and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software.
- Define test strategies, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to process improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience is required; the description also cites 6+ years in software development and testing, including at least 3 years with SaaS applications.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- Strong Java full-stack development experience, particularly with Spring Boot.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation, or equivalent Azure or GCP experience.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, SQL and NoSQL databases, containerization, CI/CD, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks, including REST API test automation and Selenium or similar UI automation.
- Experience with or knowledge of Angular, React, Pulsar, SNS/SQS, Helm, and Argo CD is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, mentoring, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
