Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a production consumer-facing Android application.
- Contribute to platform-level architecture and scale core infrastructure.
- Deliver high-quality features while balancing speed and quality.
- Contribute to product design and direction decisions with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Android engineers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience building and shipping production Android applications.
- Strong Kotlin expertise with demonstrated experience using Jetpack Compose and modern architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Proficiency with unit, instrumentation, and UI testing strategies for Android.
- Experience integrating Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
- Familiarity with protobufs, REST, and gRPC used in mobile applications.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development.
- Demonstrated mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior engineers.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Background in fintech, personal finance, or consumer mobile applications is preferred.
