Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain physical, virtual, and containerized infrastructure environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation for configuration, software integration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and hands-off build, test, integration, deployment, and upgrade environments.
- Administer Linux environments, container platforms, virtualization infrastructure, development tools, and team collaboration tools.
- Document system designs, environments, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor team members and share expertise in DevOps, containerization, automation, and system administration.
- Deliver technical presentations to clients and internal leadership and support complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, DevOps, systems administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Docker, container orchestration, OpenShift or AWS EKS, CI/CD tools, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong Linux system administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience deploying software-intensive systems involving web, middleware, and database components.
- Experience designing, documenting, and deploying physical infrastructure such as server installations and racking/stacking.
- Experience with automated test frameworks, public cloud platforms, virtualization and automation tools, and software development team tools.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and documentation skills; cybersecurity experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion and ability to work for extended periods at computer workstations or viewing monitors.
