Base Salary
$225k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade agentic AI applications for front-office lending workflows.
- Build solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, Model Context Protocol, Text-to-SQL, agent orchestration frameworks, and multi-agent systems.
- Develop scalable Python-based AI services and APIs for enterprise deployment.
- Partner with business leaders, strategists, quantitative teams, and technology teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases.
- Integrate AI solutions with internal data platforms, research systems, analytics tools, and lending applications.
- Establish practices for evaluation, monitoring, governance, and responsible AI deployment.
- Participate in SPG and Firmwide AI Challenge Labs and contribute to Morgan Stanley’s AI strategy.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and system design experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML applications leveraging large language models.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and prompt engineering.
- Experience developing agentic workflows and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud-native development, and production deployment practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience with Model Context Protocol, tool-calling frameworks, and advanced agent architectures.
- Preferred experience building Text-to-SQL, document intelligence, or knowledge management solutions.
- Preferred background in fixed income, structured products, lending, securitized products, or broader financial markets.
- Preferred experience working directly with front-office businesses and quantitative teams.
