Responsibilities
- Implement ServiceNow enhancements, integrations, fixes, features, and other application projects with business SMEs, solution architects, and business analysts.
- Lead the technical domain of ServiceNow release upgrades, including coordination of activities, timelines, and required steps.
- Design, develop, configure, document, and support solutions across new and existing business applications and platforms.
- Perform system testing, automate and document test cases and scripts, identify bugs, log defects, and resolve moderate to complex issues.
- Review developer code and configurations, provide technical guidance, and promote coding and configuration management best practices.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Operations Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, and Employee Center Pro.
- Apply technical judgment to application design, coding standards, software development lifecycle practices, and platform engineering approaches.
- Collaborate with stakeholders using Agile project delivery practices and translate complex technical requirements for non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience across the listed modules.
- Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with Jira Data Center and Cloud, DataDog, SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce.com, Prometheus, and Integration Hub Elements.
- Experience consuming and creating APIs, designing and implementing business application enhancements, performing testing and defect management, and supporting system and data integrations.
- Experience with ITOM and CMDB is an asset.
- Experience with C#, Java, PHP, the Microsoft .NET Framework, RESTful and SOAP web services, and authentication technologies.
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, and CSS web programming.
- Experience with SQL Server or MySQL, including stored procedures, complex queries, query optimization, and database design.
- Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and OpenID authentication protocols and technologies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, change management, application planning, cybersecurity, and privacy skills.
