Responsibilities
- Deliver Dynamics 365 F&O implementations, upgrades, integrations, customizations, and upgrade-safe extensions using X++.
- Design and implement integrations using OData, REST and SOAP APIs, AIF/DMF, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Dual Write, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build SSRS, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric reports and support data migration strategies using DMF/Data Management Framework.
- Configure security roles and privileges, workflows, batch jobs, and performance tuning for D365 F&O environments.
- Develop reusable technical templates, frameworks, accelerators, Python testing scripts, and AI-driven workflow automations.
- Prepare Technical Design Documents based on Functional Design Documents and business requirements.
- Manage version control, branching, build, release, deployment, and environment activities across Dev, UAT, and Production.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, guide peers and junior developers, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, project teams, finance, supply chain, IT, and dealer stakeholders.
- Support platform upgrades, hotfixes, deployment troubleshooting, and compliance with Microsoft engineering and security standards.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of demonstrated experience in ERP technologies, including 6+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O/AX technical development.
- Experience as a technical developer on at least five full-cycle Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
- Expertise in X++ development, D365 F&O technical architecture, layered architecture, customization, configuration, and upgrade-safe extensions.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Operations modules.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio, the D365 Extension framework, developer workbench tools, SSRS, and performance tuning.
- Experience designing integrations with OData, REST/SOAP APIs, AIF/DMF, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, Dual Write, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, indexing, query optimization, data migration, and ETL techniques.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines, release management, test plans, GitHub, branching strategies, Lifecycle Services, and Power Platform Admin Center.
- Experience building automated testing scripts using Python or other frameworks; preferred exposure to Leapwork, Azure App Testing, Playwright, JMeter, Ranorex, or Selenium.
- Ability to manage security roles, workflows, batch jobs, deployments, environment troubleshooting, API authentication and authorization, and production performance optimization.
- Ability to prepare technical design and integration documentation, conduct peer reviews, mentor developers, and manage technical delivery.
- Preferred certifications or experience include MB-500: Finance & Operations Apps Developer, Power Pages, and AI-powered Copilot Studio.
