Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to architecture and implementation for WRSD.
- Define technical strategy with stakeholders and align it with business goals.
- Technically mentor and develop software engineers and testers.
- Guide adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and deployment tooling.
- Provide technical leadership for Angular JS frontend and Node JS and Python backend development.
- Guide feature decomposition into testable epics, stories, and tasks with estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, technologists, product managers, developers, engineering program managers, QA, Test, Engineering Operations, and customer-facing teams.
- Guide software engineering patterns, DevOps, and MLOps practices.
- Provide architectural oversight for Kubernetes- and Docker-based containerized applications.
- Define, document, and present architecture processes and decisions.
- Support production issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation for architecture, design decisions, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Data Science, engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 14 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 9 years of cloud development experience using Python or Go.
- At least 3 years leading and driving architecture for on-cloud and/or on-premises R&D projects with high availability, scale, and performance requirements.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps are requested.
- Advanced degrees such as an MSc, MBA, or PhD are appreciated but not required.
- Strong technical leadership, collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities in a distributed Agile environment.
