Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end software development from requirements through production deployment for key products and services such as accounting and reporting systems.
  • Drive technical decisions, contribute to architecture and technical direction, and solve complex technical problems.
  • Build scalable customer solutions using technologies such as React Query and gRPC.
  • Take end-to-end operational responsibility for team-owned components.
  • Share technical expertise, mentor engineering colleagues, and improve team development practices and processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Java or Kotlin and JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern frameworks including Spring Boot and React.
  • Strong AWS experience, including SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and Lambda, with efficient cost management; Terraform is a plus.
  • Experience with event-driven and microservice architectures, including anti-corruption layers, event sourcing, and CQRS.
  • Experience leading solutions from initial design through delivery and impact in a hands-on capacity.
  • Working proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic, autonomous teams.
  • Confident AI-augmented development experience, ideally with Claude Code.
  • Experience with or strong interest in accounting systems or ledgers is advantageous.
