Responsibilities
- Lead complex software consulting engagements from discovery through production and build trust with clients.
- Write and guide the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software using varied languages and frameworks.
- Lead architecture, software design, technical direction, and stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate on systems spanning the full ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model deployment, integration, and performance monitoring.
- Lead teams, maintain healthy prioritized backlogs, manage high-level project roadmaps, and resolve blockers.
- Provide client status updates, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain relationships with client technical leaders.
- Mentor colleagues, facilitate feedback and retrospectives, design or lead workshops, and support hiring and community activities.
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of repeated success across a variety of software projects.
- Experience leading high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery through production.
- Production-quality coding experience with multiple languages and frameworks, including Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features such as recommendation engines, NLP models, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, refactoring, Git, and MacOS/Linux environments.
- Ability to address architecture-level scalability, security, reliability, and performance concerns.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Preferred experience with platform engineering, data engineering and Databricks, production agentic systems, RAG pipelines, vector search, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, n8n, DevSecOps, DevOps, MLOps, and infrastructure as code.
