Base Salary
$188k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical decision-making to accelerate delivery and mentor engineers.
- Champion event-driven architecture adoption across the organization.
- Participate in data infrastructure strategy planning and initiatives.
- Design and implement platforms to deliver data through managed APIs.
- Develop a scalable and reliable stream processing architecture.
- Improve performance, security, and reliability of data platforms.
- Establish guidelines for data access and storage for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Understanding of CAP theorem and concurrency models.
- Familiarity with distributed NewSQL datastores and stream processing tools.
- Experience designing and operating systems at scale.
- Proficiency in API design and microservices.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for event-driven orchestration.
- Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and networking stacks.
- Production-level proficiency in Go and interest in open source.
