Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build distributed, scalable financial services that process high-volume global transactions.
  • Own features end to end from requirements through deployment and operations.
  • Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and coach teammates on quality standards.
  • Diagnose operational issues and implement permanent fixes to improve reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders, product teams, and engineering groups to create technical designs.
  • Evaluate tools, frameworks, and generative artificial intelligence approaches to improve productivity and developer experience.
  • Review operational metrics, triage incidents, develop transaction-processing features, mentor engineers, and contribute to planning.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

  • Base salary range of $143,700–$194,400 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
