Responsibilities
- Contribute readable and well-tested code to ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to implement and iterate on customer-facing features.
- Write scope and technical specification documents for assigned projects.
- Lead small working groups of two or three engineers.
- Participate in code and document reviews.
- Help product management identify improvements for owned features and drive them to completion.
- Triage support requests and product alerts and participate in the group-wide on-call rotation after onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with a modern framework such as React.
- Experience writing database queries for document-based or relational databases.
- Experience writing and reviewing technical specifications and leading small projects.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, C++/C, or a similar compiled language is a plus.
- Interest in A/B testing or product design.
