Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend experiences for international dealer products using React and TypeScript.
- Build full-stack features and integrate with existing services using React, TypeScript, and Java.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver software for Canadian and UK markets.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Own frontend services from ideation through deployment and ongoing production maintenance.
- Ensure systems are secure, maintainable, highly available, performant, and high quality.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues using observability tools to assess system health and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide code review guidance, and help establish team processes and engineering standards for the Dublin office.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of front-end software development experience.
- Production-grade experience building dynamic, responsive user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with server-side TypeScript, especially Remix; Next.js or Express experience is also valued.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and GraphQL.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production service management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and experience with Docker or Kubernetes are bonuses.
