Responsibilities
- Lead the design of major software components, systems, and features to improve service availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with global teams across the software development lifecycle to deliver software products and client services and remove blockers.
- Improve the full service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Create technical standards and participate in RFC discussions and proposals.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for the platform.
- Investigate and resolve platform issues in collaboration with other teams.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Contribute to improving Suvoda’s engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as C#, Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with distributed systems, big data, and/or parallel computing.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 12+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
