Responsibilities
- Lead an enterprise-scale migration from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
- Ensure high availability and no pipeline downtime during the transition.
- Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems.
- Lead cross-team engineering efforts and define SLO, observability, and incident-response standards.
- Act as a technical authority and mentor while influencing architecture and delivery practices.
- Build and optimize CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
- Improve developer velocity, developer experience, and delivery speed.
- Participate in team collaboration, ceremonies, learning activities, training, and technical improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS and experience with additional cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Proven success leading cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems and release automation.
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Strong scripting or programming skills using relevant languages and tools.
- Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, CloudFormation, Python, C++, PowerShell, Bash, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana is relevant to the role.
