Responsibilities
- Assess current backend architecture for improvements in reliability, scalability, and security.
- Design and implement core abstractions to support growth.
- Set technical direction for scaling infrastructure to handle increased customer and document volume.
- Enhance backend engineering practices across the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems.
- Experience in B2B SaaS and scaling systems from early stage to serious scale.
- Strong computer science foundation with hands-on coding and debugging skills.
- Recent production experience with Python and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience handling sensitive data in regulated domains.
