Product Security Engineer, Programs

Responsibilities
- Own the development and maturation of security features for assigned products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement solutions that meet security goals.
- Partner with security assessment teams to identify weaknesses in products and integrated components.
- Develop secure handling and operational processes with manufacturing and operations teams.
- Remediate weaknesses in designs, implementations, integrations, and processes.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and research and mitigate hardware and software exploits.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more programming languages, including C/C++, Golang, Rust, or Python.
- Experience assessing and improving the security of firmware, applications, networks, IoT, or embedded systems.
- Experience building, testing, and delivering production-ready systems, especially embedded or Linux systems.
- Familiarity with anti-tamper and reverse-engineering mechanisms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and understanding of product, systems, and security design rationale.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.
- Preferred: active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI and/or SAP eligibility.
- Preferred: familiarity with embedded, aerospace, or cyber-physical security architectures.
- Preferred: fluency in U.S. government cyber methodologies and related guidance, including JSIG, ICD 503, CSEIG, SSECG, NIST SP 800-160, Cyber T&E Guidebook, and CMMC.
- Preferred: experience with programmable logic devices and their development tools.
