Responsibilities
- Discuss software requirements with customers in Germany.
- Define technical requirements and work packages in collaboration with partners.
- Design and develop software architecture and embedded platform software.
- Develop device drivers and perform board bring-up activities on embedded hardware.
- Validate software through unit, integration, and system testing.
- Guide and mentor team members, including reviewing technical artifacts.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience.
- BE, B.Tech, M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or an equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience developing drivers for embedded hardware interfaces including SPI, I2C, DMA, ADC, and UART.
- Hands-on experience in platform development projects and device driver development for at least one of STM32, GigaDevice, TI, or TLE microcontrollers.
- Expertise in Embedded C and C++ programming, including advanced C++ design patterns and templates.
- Experience with software architecture, UML, and software design techniques.
- Experience with unit, integration, and system testing.
- Experience guiding and mentoring team members and reviewing artifacts.
- Knowledge of battery management systems, Li-Ion battery packs, or charger management projects is advantageous.
- Experience with BLDC motor control, Python test automation, Git or SVN, an RTOS such as FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, or µC/OS, CMake, Docker, open source software handling, or connectivity protocols such as Wi-Fi and BLE is advantageous.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team and guide technical teams.
